Separated at birth and reunited after 10 years. Less than 1500 difference in VIN number means they were made within days of each other. The boys are looking good at middle age...

The taillights on these (and the Audis from which they were borrowed) always look like two hawks staring each other down.
Or in this case, four hawks.

Never thought about that. Hmmm. I do recall that the look was controversial at the time. Can’t please everybody.

They are also among the first 4dr SI’s built. Mine was ordered before production and was on the first truck into town.

Makes me miss mine. I put nearly 100k miles on it before I sold it. Great car.

I agree. 90,000 miles on mine and it drives like new. I really don’t have a reason to replace it plus the new Si isn’t all that different or better.

Another interesting thing, the other owner and I both still are using the original Michelin MX4 tires. They are expensive, and they last only 25,000 miles but they feel much better than alternative choices. At 10 years you figure most people would be driving Costco deluxes. Not us!
